About me
I am an Indonesian who is currently living in Japan, currently pursuing a PhD at Okutomi-Tanaka Lab in Dept. of Systems and Control Engineering, School of Engineering, Tokyo Tech. My supervisor is Professor Masatoshi Okutomi. I was working very closely with (ex-)Assistant Professor Akihiko Torii. Nowadays, I am working closely with the new Assistant Professor Yusuke Monno. My research, in general, is about 3D reconstruction from a collection of 2D images. In computer vision, we call it structure-from-motion. Specifically, I am working on 3D reconstruction on medical dataset, i.e, gastric endoscopy. My hobby is photography and feel free to look around my portfolio. If you find that my works are good and interested to use my service or my photographs, feel free to contact me through one of the channel i provide in the side bar.
In everyday life, I am a student working on set of computer vision problems, juggling between some programming language to tackle them.
I deal with with Python and MATLAB a lot and I consider it them as my main programming language. In python, I deal with multiple vision library such as Pillow, openCV, and open3D.
I also use both PyTorch and TensorFlow but I only fluent in PyTorch. About other programming language, I also have experiences with C, C++, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP.
Outside my life as a student, I have photography and playing DotA as my hobby. Though my journey with camera started when I was in junior high school with my Mom's nikon point-and-shot,
I did not see it as a hobby back then. I even thought "Nah it's not my thing" haha. I started to put meaning (and effort) in my photograph not until the early of 2017.
From there, I started learning Lightroom, Photoshop, and any related stuff. Although I do photography casually, I always strive to become a better photographer.
